SOME OF OUR RECENTLY CREATED PREGNANCY PHOTOS
I can’t resist but post my favourite images from this recent maternity session. I can proudly say that we ended up with a nice variety of images, including different backgrounds, outfits, poses, lights etc. This article is also a useful map of our maternity sessions. It perfectly describes the timeline of a typical pregnancy shoot in our studio.
I’d like to start with my absolute favourite from the shoot below. I will write about the long and interesting history of my famous green scarf later.

My gorgeous client was seven months pregnant at the time of her maternity session. She is expecting her baby boy in May 2020.
Thanks to the lovely weather we had on the day, we were able to start the session outside in our beautiful backyard, just behind the studio. The expecting mama chose to wear my purple pregnancy shoot dress first and then one of her own dresses she brought to the session. At the beginning we have made a plan which outfit to wear with which location and background.

After wrapping up outside we went back into the studio and started using the windows and sheer curtain as background. This is one of my favourite places to shoot in the studio, especially if there is beautiful light outside.

Keeping the same dress on we used the white paper background as well.

After the white backdrop we switched to my favourite dark grey one and played around with scarves.

The green scarf is one of my studio’s oldest accessory for pregnancy photography. I bought it more than 10 years ago when I first started offering pregnancy photo sessions. It has been used many times during the years by many expecting mamas on three continents. Lots of precious memories were created with it. This famous garment has moved with me from Australia to the UK, then to Singapore and back to Australia. It looks amazing on photos – just like in real life – I hope I will use it with many more expecting moms.

I’m so happy this lovely couple chose me to create memories for them about these special times. I hope they will treasure these images for many years to come. I can’t wait to meet their little bundle of joy in May and create more memories for them.
