With restrictions eased, we are so excited to be able to welcome clients in the studio again! All our staff is fully vaccinated and the business is registered as COVID Safe. Our calendar is now open for bookings from the 20th of October.

We would love to capture stunning Glamour Style Maternity Portraits of you! Our sessions include Professional Makeup, Hair Styling, Wardrobe Styling, Gorgeous Maternity Photoshoot Gowns and more.

We are looking for 16 expecting mums for our exciting project. Please read the details below if you are interested in being part of it.

The Story Behind this Project

At Janette Osvay Photography we are passionate about capturing motherhood and we missed it so much during lockdown. We believe that the shape of pregnancy is beautiful and it deserves to be shown on stunning images. We would love to celebrate freedom and life getting back to – relatively – normal. Spring and the end of lockdown are all about new beginnings, new life and growth, just like pregnancy.

We were very sad and disappointed that we couldn’t to finish our “Embrace Winter” Maternity Project, due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Sydney in June. We found 16 lovely mums but we have only managed to do a few of the sessions before the lockdown. It is a shame that many expecting mums missed their chances to have beautiful memories of their baby bumps on professional portraits. We have big hopes for this project, hopefully we will be able to finish this one.

The Plan

We would like to capture an amazing set of maternity images that show the beauty and magic of motherhood – and parenthood – as well as gorgeous spring/summer colors, nature and lights.

The photographer would capture the images in our beautiful boutique studio in Pymble and outdoors as well. We have a beautiful backyard behind and around the studio with lots of flowers and greens. It is a perfect backdrop for maternity portraits. We also would like to go to locations like a park, beach or riverside. In addition, we will use many exciting props, outfits, accessories, digital backgrounds and overlays.

We have a wardrobe full of beautiful maternity photoshoot dresses in the studio and many other accessories for pregnancy photography.

At the end of the project we will exhibit the best portraits from each maternity session in our studio and online.

New Exciting Additions to the Studio

We were busy during lockdown and collected lots of new exciting props and accessories. Now we have four more hand painted canvas backdrops – hand painted by Janette the photographer. We also purchased stunning new maternity photoshoot gowns. In addition, we are working on a flower wall as backdrop. We are so excited to use all these soon.

Session and Fees

These 16 “Celebrate Freedom” Maternity Sessions cost $190 and include

• Professional Makeup, Hair Styling and Wardrobe Styling;
• Unlimited use of our Gorgeous Maternity Photoshoot Gowns;
• 90 minutes to 2 hours pregnancy portrait shoot in the studio and outdoors;
• Pre-shoot Consultation;
• A Cinematic Presentation of the images (after which you get to choose your favorite one(s);
• An 8×10″ size Museum Grade Mounted Fine Art Print and the same image digitally;
• Belly Casting (optional) for $65 (normally $150 with discounted maternity sessions);
• A $200 Gift Certificate towards your Newborn Portrait Collection (if you wish to come back to us with your baby).

Be one of the sixteen expecting mums who participates in this project. Reserve your session online by clicking the button below. Please note that a $90 deposit needs to be paid at booking to secure your appointment with our team. The outstanding $100 needs to be paid on the day of your portrait session. Please note that based on the NSW Government’s guidelines, we are only able to offer appointments to fully vaccinated people at this point.
