People have been keeping dogs for pets for 12,000 years. Did you know that dogs are mentioned 14 times in the Bible? A fun fact is that seventy percent of people sign their pets name on greeting/holiday cards.
The Importance of our Pets in our Lives
Dogs and cats – and other pets – have become much loved family members in most households. We call them our best friend, fur baby or animal companion. Our pets love us unconditionally, they are overjoyed every time we come home, like they haven’t seen us for weeks. They light up our lives many times with their pure happyness, their unique sense of homour and just being cheerful most of the times. They make us laugh, cheer us up and encourage us to excersise.
Why should you have professional photos of your pet?
Unfortunately they don’t stay with us for very long. Their lifetime is much shorter than a human’s. We need to capture memories of them and of us with them. I don’t have any photos of my very first cat and I deeply regret it. It would be so nice to look back at images of him.
Of course these days it is easier, everyone keeps tons of photos of their pets on their phones. Still, a professional photograph on the wall or in a family album can be so precious. We also photograph you and your family with your pet and know how to arrange everyone for stunning photos.
Pets have their own unique catacters and it is so much fun to capture it.

Our pet photography portrait shoots are fun experiences. There is always a lot of laughing involved. Both pets and owners enjoy themselves and treasure the memories. Check out the experience through the video below, filmed at one of our sessions, starring Sparky the labradoodle as the main character.
Our pet – or family and pet – portrait sessions take about one to two hours. Cats and dogs are welcome in our studio and we are also happy to go to your home or to your favourite park or beach to capture images. In the studio we offer props and accessories and studio lights can come handy on a rainy day. We even have a beautiful back and front yard to use as a natural backdrop. If your pet feels more comfortable in your home and garden then the best idea is to take photos there. A special location your dog loves and is used to can be great as well. Images taken in a professional studio of course have a different style from images taken elsewhere, using natural light.

Images can be presented as beautiful artworks like museum grade mounted fine art prints, canvases, portrait boxes or albums. Our packages also include digital collections. Our packages start from $500. They all include the session fee, digital collection and printed art. A pre-shoot consultation and a cinematic presentation of the images are also included. At your image presentation you get to choose your favourite ones and decide how you would like to present or display them.

We also offer beautifully presented gift certificates. They are all 10% off until Christmas. They can be purchased online or in the studio in person.
How To Book
Bookings can be made online. Please click the link below to book your portrait session. Choose the one hour family session. Please note that a $150 deposit needs to be paid at booking to secure your appointment. This will be deducted from the price of your chosen collection, along with the value of your gift certificate.
