I am happy to announce that all the new maternity photoshoot dresses have finally arrived! I’m so excited to introduce them in this post.
Unfortunately there is a lockdown here in Sydney at the moment, due to the current COVID crises. This is the reason why we haven’t been able to use them yet on expecting mums. I’m desperately looking forward to being able to work again and photograph pregnancy sessions with the new gowns. I actually painted a new canvas backdrop too and ordered over 400 fake flowers for a flower wall background.
Until I can capture maternity photos again I will keep collecting exciting props and accessories for the studio and create some of them myself. I always loved being creative. Another big plan is to widen my skills in Photoshop which is such a complex software, the more I learn the more I realize how much I don’t know about it.
I’m also participating in online photography webinars, workshops and classes. I really would like to level up my knowledge and skills and studio equipment by the time I can open the studio again.
Please look at the new pregnancy shoot dresses below I’m so excited about.
I chose two of these because I thought they would be great for maternity photography and glamour shoots too. Mostly, for glamour style pregnancy photos. One of them is dusty pink color and the other one is minty green. Both of them come with matching tube top and tulle veils. I think they will look amazing on maternity photos. Can’t wait to use them in the studio.
The Flowy Azure
I am in love with this one! It has such a beautiful material and color. This gown has a bodysuit built in it, a beautiful 2/3 sleeve and a long flowy skirt. Can’t wait to use it outdoors and in the studio as well. I can already picture it with my dark grey seamless paper background.
The Lacy Pink
Another stunning gown, in “old pink”! The dress is made of jersey and lace. The top is off shoulder, has a sweetheart neckline and long sleeves. It has a mermaid look and has limited stretch.
The Orange/Mustard One
My first dress in this color! It is so unbelievably beautiful! It has a lacey bodysuit, top part and neckline and a slightly see-through flowy bottom which opens at the front. It will be stunning outdoors and with natural backgrounds in the studio.
I purchased four bodysuits because I love using them in pregnancy photography. Some of these will be great for glamour and boudoir portraits too.
The first one is a velvety green outfit, specifically designed for maternity photos. There are two keyhole bodysuits, one in burnt honey and another one in black. The fourth one is asymmetric and rose pink.
And lastly, the cognac colored silk shawl. It is 4 x 2 meters in size and can be used many ways. Our plan is to wrap or partly cover expecting mums – or new mums with babies – in it and make it fly behind or next to them.
I’m so looking forward to being able to use all these amazing additions to my studio. Until that, everyone please stay safe.
